• This book is a diary of a schoolboy attending 3rd and 4th grade in an Italian town. 

• In this diary you can read about life in 1886. 

• This book isn’t full of adventures but it is full of real life experiences.

• It is a very simple book, but it has a lot of teachings.

• When you are reading the book, it “encourages you” to become a better person; to be nicer to people and help others when they need it.

• I truly enjoyed reading about the life of Enrico Bottini and I highly recommend it to children up to 13 years old.
